School Based Health Services: Lessons in Literature and Lessons in Practice

  • Professor Lena Sanci is the Head of the Department, Director of Teaching and Learning, and co-lead of the Children and Young People’s Research Stream, Department of General Practice (DGP), University of Melbourne. She is also the Medical Advisor for the implementation of the Victorian government’s Doctors in Secondary Schools Program, Chief General Practice Advisor to the Department of Health Victoria, and inaugural President of the Australasian School-Based Health Association. She works as a sessional GP at Sexual Health Victoria.
  • Dr Bianca Forrester, has lived and worked in the Geelong community for 15 years. She is a senior lecturer in Primary Care at the University of Melbourne and is also a lecturer at Deakin’s School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, she runs several communities of practice on issues including COVID care, family violence and youth mental health.
